Cash Market Readiness Newsflash | Updates for Clearers regarding the migration of trading venue Börse Frankfurt including Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate to T7 Cash Market Readiness Newsflash

Dear Börse Frankfurt and Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate Participant,

The Pre-Production environment for Börse Frankfurt (MIC: XFRA) is now live since 28 October 2019.

With this Newsflash, we would like to remind you that from a clearing perspective, Cash Clearing Members also need to prepare for the Börse Frankfurt Migration.

We would like to point your attention to the following areas:

  • T7 GUI access for Administration, Back Office activities and Risk Management

If you are holding a Cash Market Clearing licence, we kindly ask you to upload a GUI certificate and ensure access to the T7 Clearer and Admin GUI. A detailed description of the T7 Clearer and Admin GUI application and its functions can be found on the Xetra website www.xetra.com under the following link: Technology > T7 trading architecture > System documentation > Release 8.0 > GUI solutions > T7 Cash Markets Trader, Admin and Clearer GUI.

In case you would like to set up clearing business unit users and change user passwords, you also need to access T7.

CLGSPV (clearing supervisor) user: For each Börse Frankfurt/Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate participant acting as a Clearer or Settlement Institute, a default CLGSPV-user will be created in the GUI. The role “Cash Service Administrator” will be assigned to this default user. Since the CLGSPV-users will be newly created, we require all customers to provide us with the person responsible for that user. Please provide the information under this link. Please refer to further details on the Xetra website under: Technology > T7 trading architecture > System documentation > Release 8.0 > GUI solutions > T7 Cash Markets-Participant and User Maintenance Manual.

  • Trade information

If you are only a Cash Market Clearing Member and/or only a Settlement Institute and processing real-time trade information, please ensure to order a FIX and/or an ETI Back Office Session. Trade confirmations via Trade view in GUI, ETI Trade Notifications or FIX Trade Capture Reports as well as the report TC 810 – T7 Daily Trade Confirmation and Contract notes will be available for Cash Clearing Members. Please refer to the system documentation.

The entire system documentation for T7 Release 8.0 available on www.xetra.com under Technology > T7 trading architecture > System documentation > Release 8.0.

Regarding further tasks, we recommend having a look at the migration checklist available via the link: Technology > T7 trading architecture > T7 Publications > Börse Frankfurt Migration.

We urge all Börse Frankfurt (incl. Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate) Trading and Clearing Members to become active as soon as possible in the Pre-Production environment to optimally prepare for a smooth transition to T7.
