Xetra, Deutsche Börse Group‘s fully electronic trading venue migrated cash market trading to the modern trading infrastructure T7. This technology is also being used by Eurex Exchange, European Energy Exchange (EEX) und Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The migration to T7 is not only a further development of the existing Xetra platform but the introduction of a new and innovative trading system representing low latency, high throughput and greater flexibility for the Participants. With this migration, Xetra is expanding its position as global reference market for German shares and leading market in European ETF trading.

Today, Deutsche Börse's T7 trading architecture was successfully deployed for the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in Sofia. T7 enables market participants of the Bulgarian capital market to benefit from a state-of-the-art technology already utilised by several market operators in Europe.

Migration Börse Frankfurt to T7

On 18 November 2019, Deutsche Börse AG introduced T7 Release 8.0 for the trading venue Xetra. With the go-live of the release, the ground work was laid for the trading venue Börse Frankfurt (including Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate) to migrate to T7. Börse Frankfurt will migrate to T7 Release 8.0 on 9 March 2020 – allowing for plenty of additional development and testing time.
