Xetra, Deutsche Börse Group‘s fully electronic trading venue migrated cash market trading to the modern trading infrastructure T7. This technology is also being used by Eurex Exchange, European Energy Exchange (EEX) und Shanghai Stock Exchange among others.

With the migration to T7 the existing Xetra platform was not only developed further but a new and innovative trading system representing low latency, high throughput and greater flexibility for the Participants was introduced. With this migration, Xetra is expanding its position as global reference market for German shares and leading market in European ETF trading.

T7 Release 8.1: Xetra EnLight below LIS

Deutsche Börse AG is planning to launch T7 Release 8.1 on 29 June 2020. Among other features and enhancements with this Release, Xetra will offer the possibility to enter Xetra EnLight Request for Quotes (RfQ) below the ESMA defined Large-in-Scale (LIS) value. The simulation period for T7 Xetra (XETR) of the T7 Release 8.1 is planned to start on 4 May 2020, the Cloud Simulation on 6 April 2020.

New date for the migration of trading venue Börse Frankfurt to the T7 system

Deutsche Börse AG is planning to migrate the trading venue Börse Frankfurt (including the structured products of Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate AG) to the new trading architecture T7 on 24 August 2020.   In order to provide all Members with sufficient time to prepare for the migration, a simulation will be offered starting on 2 June 2020 which will map trading at the trading venue Börse Frankfurt as production-near as possible.
