New thematic ETFs from HANetf on Xetra: renewable energies and aviation

Two new exchange traded funds issued by HANetf have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Monday.

With the iClima Distributed Renewable Energy UCITS ETF - Acc, investors focus on 50 companies worldwide that supply products and services for decentralised renewable power generation. These include solar cells, smart meters, storage solutions and smart home technologies that enable the generation and management of renewable energy directly at the end user's premises.

The stocks included in the index all receive the same weighting. Companies with business activities in the areas of oil and gas, weapons, nuclear energy, or thermal coal are excluded from the index.

The U.S. Global Jets UCITS ETF - Acc gives investors access to 50 companies from the aviation industry. In addition to airlines, the focus is on aircraft manufacturers, airport operators and service personnel in the aircraft and at the terminal. The index components are weighted according to fundamental key figures such as market capitalisation, passenger load factor, cash flow yield and sales growth. The main constituents of the index are the major US and Canadian airlines.
