New WisdomTree ETF on Xetra: Diversified Commodity Investment with Roll Optimisation

Since Monday, a new exchange traded fund of the issuer WisdomTree is tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The WisdomTree Enhanced Commodity ex-Agriculture UCITS ETF enables investors to invest in a basket of different futures on energy commodities, precious metals and industrial metals, which each make up one third of the total portfolio. In addition to oil and gas, gold, silver, palladium, zinc, aluminium and copper are among the commodities covered. The agricultural and livestock sectors are excluded.

In order to optimise rolling profits, commodities with a higher probability of backwardation are overweighted. Backwardation is when future futures contracts are cheaper than the contract currently expiring.
