New Ossiam ETF on Xetra: Investment in interest rate structure of US Treasuries
Since Monday a new Exchange Traded Fund of the issuer Ossiam is tradable on Xetra and Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The Ossiam US Steepener UCITS ETF 1C (USD) gives investors the opportunity to participate in an increase in the medium- to long-term yield on US government bonds. The leveraged benchmark index contains futures on US Treasuries and benefits from a steepening yield curve at the long end. The development is measured by the difference between long-term and short-term interest rates.
The index holds long positions in short-term US Treasuries and short positions in long-term US Treasury futures.
