New Amundi ETF on Xetra: corporate bonds worldwide in line with the Paris Climate Agreement

A new exchange traded fund issued by Amundi has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.

The Amundi iCPR Euro Corporate Climate Paris Aligned PAB UCITS ETF DR (C) gives investors access to fixed-income and euro-denominated corporate bonds worldwide. The bonds were issued by companies that act in accordance with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. To be included in the index, the debt instruments must have a minimum remaining term of one year, an investment grade rating and a minimum outstanding volume of 500 million euros.

The weighting of the bonds in the index is based on the company's contribution to climate change mitigation. The aim is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50 per cent compared to the Solactive Euro IG Corporate Index and to drive decarbonisation by seven per cent annually.

Companies that violate the United Nations Global Compact or engage in significant business activities in the areas of tobacco, coal, oil & gas, and weapons are excluded from the index.
