Deutsche Börse welcomes Ridgex as new ETC issuer on Xetra

Initial listing of four Exchange Traded Commodities/Focus on sustainable precious metals

Ridgex, a new Exchange Traded Commodities (ETCs) issuer on the European market, has chosen Deutsche Börse with its trading venues Xetra and Börse Frankfurt for the initial listing of four ETCs on precious metals.

Ridgex specialises in precious metals from sustainable sources. The issuer uses blockchain technology to provide investors with higher transparency and security regarding the origin and sustainability of the underlying precious metals.

The physically backed ETCs include gold, silver, platinum and palladium. The precious metals are stored in vaults in London and Zurich.
