Deutsche Börse expands crypto offering with first basket ETNs from WisdomTree
Three new crypto basket exchange-traded notes (ETNs) issued by WisdomTree have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Monday.
The WisdomTree Crypto Mega Cap Equal Weight allows investors to participate in the performance of a basket of cryptocurrencies consisting of the two largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. According to their current market capitalisation, these are the cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ethereum, which are each equally represented in the basket.
With the WisdomTree Crypto Market, investors can participate in the performance of a more broadly diversified basket of large cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. At present, the ETN is composed of the cryptocurrencies Bitcoin, Ethere-um, Solana, Cardano, Polkadot, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.
The WisdomTree Crypto Altcoins tracks the performance of major cryptocurrencies, excluding the two cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ethereum. Currently, the ETN includes the cryptocurrencies Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Litecoin, Polkadot and Solana.
The three WisdomTree ETNs are backed by the respective cryptocurrencies.
