Titel: Ali Masarwah

Ali Masarwah is the Editor-in-chief of Morningstar in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and a member of the European research team of Morningstar.

From 1990 to 1996, he studied political science, history and German language and literature at the University of Cologne. Following an internship at the news agency ADN in Berlin, he headed the funds department of the news agency vwd from 2001 to 2003. He joined portfolio verlag in Frankfurt in 2003 as chief editor for the “portfolio international” magazine. From 2006 and until joining Morningstar in the fall of 2011, he was also journalistically responsible for all magazines and websites of the publishing house as their chief editor.
