New equity index ETF from Invesco on Xetra: climate-friendly and sustainable companies from emerging markets

A new exchange-traded fund issued by Invesco is tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.

The Invesco MSCI Emerging Markets ESG Climate Paris Aligned UCITS ETF offers investors the opportunity to invest in large and mid-cap companies from 26 emerging markets, with the aim of benefiting from growth opportunities arising from the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The benchmark index includes companies from the MSCI Emerging Market Index that have high ESG metrics. The weighting of the companies is based on the targets of the Paris Climate Agreement. This means that the weighting of the companies with the greatest exposure to opportunities arising from climate change is maximised. In contrast, the weighting of companies exposed to climate transition risks is reduced.
