New SPDR-ETF on Xetra: S&P 500 with ESG Focus

Since Tuesday a new Exchange Traded Fund of State Street Global Advisors is tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The SPDR S&P 500 ESG Screened UCITS ETF (Acc) enables investors to participate in the performance of the US equity market for ESG-compliant large-cap stocks. The ETF attempts to replicate the S&P 500 ESG Exclusions II Index. The securities include the leading 500 companies in the US equity market, which are weighted according to market capitalisation. Securities are filtered out on the basis of their exposure to weapons, tabak and thermal coal, which are considered not to conform to the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
