Cash Market Readiness Newsflash | Xetra T7 Release 9.0: User settings for "Trade-at-Close” short messages Cash Market Readiness Newsflash

Dear Xetra Participant,

With this Newsflash we would like to inform you about an enhancement that will be introduced for the ETI New Order Single (short message) handling in relation to participation in the Trade-at-Close phase. Deutsche Börse will support the Trade-at-Close participation of an order submitted via the ETI New Order Single (short message) based on the user setting Trade-at-Close.

Lean and standard orders submitted via the ETI New Order Single (short message) layout cannot be enabled for participation in the Trade-at-Close phase at present in simulation.

From 18 November 2020 onwards in simulation, the following enhancement will be introduced for the ETI New Order Single (short message) handling in relation to participation in the Trade-at-Close phase:

In order to participate in the Trade-at-Close phase when using the ETI New Order Single (short message) layout, the submitting user will have to be enabled for Trade-at-Close in the User Maintenance view of the T7 Admin GUI. If the user is enabled for Trade-at-Close, the order will be enabled for participation in the Trade-at-Close phase. It will not be possible to overwrite the user settings in the ETI New Order Single (short message)

Please note: Lean and standard orders submitted via the ETI New Order Single layout can be directly enabled for participation in the Trade-at-Close phase by setting the TradeAtCloseOptIn field to “1”. When the user setting Trade-at-Close is enabled in the User Maintenance view of the T7 Admin GUI for the submitting user of the order, then the order is enabled for participation in the Trade-at-Close phase also in case no TradeAtCloseOptIn is submitted via the ETI New Order Single message layout. If the flag on the ETI New Order Single message is set differently to the user setting, the flag on the order overwrites the user setting.

Trade-at-Close will be available in production as of 24 November 2020.
