New L&G ETF on Xetra: Access to Chinese Government Bonds

Since Thursday, a new exchange traded fund of the issuer Legal & General Investment Management is tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

With the L&G ESG China CNY Bond UCITS ETF - (EUR) Dist, investors have access to Chinese CNY-denominated fixed-income bonds issued by the Chinese government and the three Chinese Policy Banks China Development Bank, Agricultural Development Bank of China and Export-Import Bank of China.

To be included in the index, the debt instruments must be tradable on the Chinese interbank market, have a residual term of at least 13 months and a minimum volume of 50 billion CNY. In addition, the issuers are weighted according to various ESG criteria. Bonds of the three state banks are limited to a maximum of 19 per cent each.
