Deutsche Börse wins four Global ETF Awards

Awarded for the largest number of ETFs, biggest turnover, most proactive European ETF exchange and most innovative index provider

Deutsche Börse won four awards at this year's Annual Global ETF Awards in New York, receiving awards for the "Most proactive ETF exchange in Europe", "Exchange with the largest number of primary listed ETFs in Europe", "Largest exchange for ETFs by dollar turnover in Europe" and „Most innovative ETF index provider in Europe“ for its STOXX indices.

The Annual Global ETF Awards are hosted by exchangetradedfunds.com – an information provider based in New York, that specialises in Exchange Traded Funds, Exchange Traded Commodities and Exchange Traded Notes. The awards were presented for outstanding success in the ETF industry. The winners were selected on the basis of statistics and by votes cast by market participants in the global financial industry.

The product offering of Deutsche Börse currently comprises a total of 1.150 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €13 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs. The index provider STOXX Ltd, which is part of the Deutsche Börse Group, calculates over 11,000 indices, including the STOXX and DAX index families.
