Evolution of exchange trading: Milestones from an IT perspective

We are celebrating 200 years of stock trading in Frankfurt: With our series “Evolution of exchange trading” we look back on the origins and milestones of exchange trading from various perspectives. The evolution of trading is closely linked with the evolution of technology. We talked to Wolfgang Eholzer and Ralf Schlaeger about why the introduction of electronic trading was a revolutionary step, what the milestones mean from an IT perspective and what continues to be the drivers for technological development.
