Konrad Kleinfeld, Vice President, fixed income specialist, is a member of BlackRock’s Institutional Sales EII – ETF & Index Investments team in Germany. He is responsible for selling iShares and index investment products to German institutional clients, focusing asset managers. With over 14 years of work experience in institutional fixed income trading/sales and banking, he is also an expert in global fixed income with particular focus on credit derivatives and corporate bonds.

Prior to joining BlackRock, he spent 7 years as Vice President at Nomura International plc in London and Frankfurt covering German, Austrian and Swiss institutional clients on flow credit & fixed income products. Konrad started his career as corporate bond and credit derivatives trader.

Konrad earned a BA in Banking (Hannover), an Executive MBA from Cass Business School, City, University of London and finished an advanced diploma in international development at the University of Cambridge, UK. Konrad is also a part-time lecturer in economics at two highly ranked business schools in Germany and occasionally teaches at King's College London.
