Hauke Stars is a Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG. She manages the Cash Market, Pre-IPO & Growth Financing Division which handles the listing and exchange trading of equities, bonds and other securities, and drives innovative pre-IPOgrowth financing initiatives. Since 1 June 2018, Hauke Stars has also been responsible for the Human Resources division of Deutsche Börse AG in her capacity as Director of Labour Relations.

From 2012 to 2015 she led the Information Technology and Market Data + Services Division and was instrumental in the modernisation of Deutsche Börse’s global IT infrastructure and the expansion of the market data business.

From 2007 to 2012 Hauke Stars was Managing Director at Hewlett Packard Switzerland and Country Manager of HP’s largest group segment HP Enterprise Business. Prior to that, she led HP Services and Sales at Hewlett Packard Netherlands. Before joining Hewlett Packard, Hauke Stars held various senior management positions in the IT industry, including Member of the Management Board of Triaton, an IT service provider and subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp AG, where she was in charge of Sales and Marketing. Prior to assuming that position, she successfully implemented various strategic projects for the Chief Information Officer at Bertelsmann.

Hauke is Member of the Supervisory Board of Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA and Member of the Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG.

She earned an Engineering Degree in applied computer science (Dipl.-Ing.) and an MSc in Engineering.
