Traditional sectors vs future-oriented sectors: identify above-average growth opportunities and create the right portfolio mix

Our world is driven by digitisation and unlimited data volumes, affecting all business sectors and our way of life. Global digital communication, robots, drones, nano- and biotechnology as well as autonomous vehicles are just some of the symptoms of this development. On the other hand, there are basic needs catered to by the traditional defensive sectors, which yield stable returns that are not linked to the performance of the general economy.
