Release date: 01 Apr 2019

027/2019 Holiday regulation for the trading venues Xetra (XETR) and Börse Frankfurt (XFRA) on Good Friday, Easter Monday and on 1 May 2019

We hereby inform you about the holiday regulation for the trading venues Xetra (XETR) and Börse Frankfurt (XFRA) on Good Friday, Easter Monday and on 1 May 2019.

With the introduction of the TARGET2-Securities calendar in 2017, the European Central Bank introduced the holidays Good Friday, Easter Monday and 1 May as settlement days.

With effect from 2019, T2S adjusted the holiday calendar for settlement days. In future, no orders in securities will be processed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, whereas 1 May will remain a settlement day.

Therefore, the trading venues Xetra (XETR) and Börse Frankfurt (XFRA) will remain closed on Good Friday (19 April 2019) and Easter Monday (22 April 2019), as opposed to last year, and will not run in "Holiday" status. On these days, there will be no end-of-day processing and Members will not be able to access the trading systems T7 (trading venue XETR) and Xetra (trading venue XFRA).

Furthermore, we would like to inform you about the special procedures which will be applied on the settlement day 1 May 2019 for the trading venues XETR and XFRA.
