1.  Introduction

With this circular, we would like to inform you about an amendment to the Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme Agreement (“XLPP Agreement”) with effect from 20 September 2021.

2.  Requirements for participation

For participation, Trading Participants have to enter into the XLPP Agreement with Deutsche Börse AG and register the Trader IDs that shall be considered for liquidity provisioning.

3. Details

The amendment covers the relevant scope of instruments in the DAX and MDAX indices in Annex A to the XLPP Agreement.

The DAX index is expanded from 30 to 40 constituents and the MDAX index is reduced from 60 to 50 constituents with effective date as of 20 September 2021. In the XLP Programme, these changes are considered from 1 October 2021, as noted in footnote 1 of Annex A to the XLPP Agreement. Respectively, for September 2021, the index composition as of 1 September 2021 is considered.

The amendment of the XLPP Agreement is deemed to be approved, unless the Xetra Liquidity Provider raises objections in writing with Deutsche Börse AG, Mergenthalerallee 61, 65760 Eschborn, within one week after announcement.
