New equity ETF from Xtrackers on Xetra: focus on climate-friendly companies from emerging markets

A new exchange traded fund issued by Xtrackers has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The Xtrackers Emerging Markets Net Zero Pathway Paris Aligned UCITS ETF enables investors to participate in the performance of large and medium-sized companies from emerging markets. In selecting companies, the fund is guided by the EU standards of the Paris Climate Agreement to limit global warming and aims to achieve specific net zero frameworks for a climate-neutral economy.

The weighting of companies takes into account their contributions to reducing CO2 emissions, environmental disclosure standards and green sales with regard to climate protection measures.

Companies that do not meet ESG standards or are active in controversial business areas are excluded.
