New Lyxor ETF on Xetra: Eurozone Green Government Bonds

A new exchange-traded fund from issuer Lyxor International Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The Lyxor Euro Government Green Bond (DR) UCITS ETF - Acc gives investors access to fixed-income and euro-denominated green government bonds of the eurozone. In addition to an investment grade rating, the debt instruments must have a residual maturity of at least one year and a minimum outstanding volume of €300 million when included in the index.

Green bonds are debt instruments that have a positive impact on the environment. They are used to finance climate and environmental projects for alternative energies, environmentally friendly buildings, sustainable water management or reduction of greenhouse gases.
