New L&G ETFs on Xetra: High-dividend companies with positive earnings growth combined with sustainability criteria

Since Thursday, two new exchange traded funds of the issuer Legal & General Investment Management are tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

With the two L&G Quality Equity Dividends ESG Exclusions UCITS ETFs, investors participate in the performance of companies with sustainable dividend growth and high quality characteristics that also fulfil various sustainability criteria. The selection includes stocks from developed countries in the Asia-Pacific region with the explicit exclusion of Japanese stocks, as well as stocks from European developed countries with the exception of companies from the United Kingdom.

To be included in the index, companies must have shown a positive dividend development over the last ten years and a relatively higher forward estimated dividend yield for the next twelve months. In addition, the companies should stand out through higher profitability, measured by return on assets, change in asset turnover and accruals, as well as a low leverage ratio.

Companies with significant earnings from thermal coal and weapons and those that are not in line with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact are excluded from the index.

Accruing dividend payments are distributed to the shareholders.
