On 11 April 2000, Deutsche Börse launched the ETF segment with only 2 products. Twenty years later, you can trade over 1,800 products with us. With this product range of 38 issuers, and 17 billion Euro monthly exchange turnover, Xetra is the market leader in Europe for ETFs.

We took this anniversary as an opportunity to host a digital ETF week from in 2020, with numerous panels and webinars that gave you an overview of the trends and developments in the European ETF industry.

It’s no wonder index funds have become particularly popular among private investors: they allow for transparent, flexible and cost-effective participation in the capital market.
