New SPDR-ETF on Xetra: Global Real Estate Market

Since Thursday a new Exchange Traded Fund of State Street Global Advisors is tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The SPDR Dow Jones Global Real Estate UCITS ETF (Acc) gives investors the opportunity to participate in the performance of the global market for listed real estate securities. The ETF invests primarily in the securities of the Dow Jones Global Select Real Estate Securities Index ("RESI") and tries to replicate it as closely as possible. These securities include equity real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate operating companies (REOCs) from industrialised and emerging countries worldwide. The securities are analysed in terms of liquidity, size and sales and then weighted according to market capitalisation.
