New HSBC ETF on Xetra: Sustainable investments worldwide combined with low CO2 emissions

Since Wednesday, a new exchange traded fund issued by HSBC Global Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt

The HSBC Developed World Sustainable Equity UCITS ETF enables investors to invest in sustainable companies from industrialised countries worldwide. The focus is on companies with a high ESG rating that contribute to a low-carbon economy and demonstrate low fossil fuel consumption.

Companies with significant business activities in nuclear energy, tobacco, coal and weapons are excluded from the index. This also applies to companies that violate the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption). The weighting of the individual stocks is based on the ESG rating and the level of CO2 emissions.

Any dividend payments are reinvested. The annual costs amount to 0.18 per cent.
