Release date: 13 Sep 2017

090/2017 Xetra T7 Disaster Recovery Test on 14 October 2017

On Saturday, 14 October 2017, Xetra T7 will offer a public Disaster Recovery (DR) Test, simulating a disaster scenario as described in the T7 Disaster Recovery concept attached to this circular.

Participation is optional but recommended for all Xetra Trading Members in order to ensure an easy transition in case of a real disaster.

On the same day, Eurex Exchange will participate with T7 in a world-wide DR test scenario organised by the Futures Industry Association (FIA).

With Xetra testing on the same day, Participants trading on T7 Xetra and Eurex will be able to test the DR scenarios for both markets simultaneously.

This Xetra DR test scenario simulates an outage of the entire Equinix data centre (FR2) facility.
