T7 Release 6.0: Introduction timeline for partition-specific gateways

Release date: 29 Dec 2017

143/2017 T7 Release 6.0: Introduction timeline for partition-specific gateways

With the introduction of T7 Release 6.0 on 4 December 2017, Deutsche Börse has implemented the technical basis to perform the migration of the High Frequency (HF) gateways to partition specific (PS) gateways.

PS gateways will replace the existing HF gateways and will only allow transaction routing to a specific partition. Sessions may login to only one PS gateway at a time and have to specify the partition ID in their initial connection request to the connection gateway.

The assignment of products to partitions is part of the trading reference data.
HF gateways and PS gateways will be offered in parallel for all cash market instruments during the migration phase for one week. Low frequency (LF) gateways are not affected by this migration and will remain in place and allow routing to all partitions.
