023/2018 Simulation of trading venues Xetra (XETR) and Börse Frankfurt (XFRA) in status “Holiday“ on Good Friday, Easter Monday and on 1 May 2018 (Labour Day)

In Xetra circular 017/18, information concerning the impact of the introduction of the TARGET2-Securities calendar on the trading venues Xetra (XETR) and Börse Frankfurt (XFRA) was provided. Both trading venues will be in status “Holiday” on Good Friday, Easter Monday and on 1 May 2018 (Labour Day).

On 2 March 2018 and 5 March 2018, we already conducted a test of the “Holiday” scenario in simulation.

To ensure a smooth processing in production, further production-like tests in simulation for Good Friday and Easter Monday will be provided. Both trading venues Xetra (XETR) and Börse Frankfurt (XFRA) will be opened with all instruments in the status “Holiday” on the following dates:

  • on 16 March 2018 and 23 March 2018 for simulation of Good Friday,
  • on 19 March 2018 and 26 March 2018 for simulation of Easter Monday,
  • on 17 April 2018 for simulation of 1 May 2018.
