Open Xetra order book: key advantage for ETF trading (German only)

In the current edition of ETF Magazine, Edda Vogt, Deutsche Börse Cash Market, talks about the fact that investors in ETFs, ETCs and ETNs can base their trading decisions on order book depth, among other criteria. The open Xetra order book, available free of charge on, offers an overview of the respective security’s short-term development.

In addition, an important criterion for an ETF’s return is its liquidity. Stephan Kraus, responsible for Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment, explains which key figures can be used to determine the liquidity of a security.

With more than 1,450 tradable ETFs, ETCs and ETNs, Xetra has won several awards as a reference market in this asset class.
